AP internships return
The Associated Press announced today that it will reinstate its internship programs this summer after a year’s hiatus.
The AP business, news and technology internship programs will resume in June and last 12 weeks, according to an AP press release. The programs will offer 38 internships, each lasting 12 weeks.

Study Journalism in Japan - for free
The CMA website contains information about the Roy W. Howard National Collegiate Reporting Competition from the Scripps Howard Foundation and Indiana University. Women J-students can win scholarships
@Doane J&M women Two scholarships, one valued at $500 and the other at $300, are available through the Nebraska Press Women. The scholarships will be awarded during the spring semester. Applicants must be in or beyond the second half of their sophomore year and be enrolled for at least 12 credits.
